carbonTRACK is entering another exciting growth phase, with new appointments and funding developments.

carbonTRACK is proud to announce Stuart Allinson as Chair-Elect and Susan Taylor as Director- elect to its Board of Directors. These appointments are part of a new Board of Directors and Advisory Board as carbonTRACK kicks off a $10 million International Capital Raising, with BlueMount Capital, to fund its growth within the USA and entry into Europe. In August 2015 the company closed a $2 million round of funding on a pre-money valuation of $22.5 million. This allowed the company to commercialise its patented technology, continue its rapid local Australian expansion as well as begin to explore international opportunities, including managing Virtual Power Plants (VPP’s) in New Zealand. This current round of funding has a pre-money valuation of $35 million.

About Susan Taylor

Susan is a former partner of Freehills and former General Counsel & Company Secretary of AusNet Services. She played a leading role in developing and implementing regulatory frameworks for electricity and gas markets in Australia, including the Australian national electricity market.

Susan has a strong reputation in international energy regulatory matters and has assisted governments in the Asia Pacific region with regulatory reform and restructure of their energy markets. She brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience to our Board. She has worked in the USA for the US Government, in private legal practice and was admitted to the New York Bar. Her strong skills & experience are important as we enter and expand into the USA market.”

Susan has received international recognition, including as a preeminent In-House Lawyer in ‘Doyle's Guide to Leading Lawyers’ and previous highest ranking in Chambers Global ‘The World’s Leading Lawyers’ for energy lawyers in Australia.
